Project Status

The Superwool Project Time ended in January 2009.

During this time we have been able to build the first Plasma Treatment Range for Wool Tops. Throughout the project all intended work packages have been carried out.

  • Design, assembling and start up of Plasma Treatment Demonstration Plant
  • Evaluation on process technology, involving process parameters, resin selection
  • Selection of additives around the production process.
  • We have reported around this project on many occasions to customers and at textile institute “DWI”

RICHTER will continue to further improve the performance of the plasma based wool finishing.
